Profile of Michael J. Gallagher, President of Council; Ward 4 Councilman
Mike was born and raised in Lakewood, Ohio. He and his wife, Sandy, live in Echo Lake with their sons, Alex and Sam. Both boys have finished school and Sam now attends Hiram College. Mike is a graduate of Lakewood St. Edward High School and graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in Communications. Mike has represented Ward 4 for eleven years and has been the Council President for the past three years. Mike chaired the Finance Committee for ten years and represented the Council on the Southwest General Hospital Board as a Trustee for twelve years. Mike now chairs the Recreation Committee and is Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee. Mike is a member of the Northeast Ohio City Council Association (NOCCA) and is a past board member. Mike is a member of the Strongsville Rotary Club and the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce.
Mike founded the Strongsville Youth Commission in 2002 and holds an annual food drive for Ward 4 with the Commission in October of each year. Mike hosts an annual golf outing to benefit the Strongsville football program in July of each year. Joseph C. DeMio is Councilman-at-Large and was first elected to his position in 1995. Joe currently chairs the Public Safety Committee and also serves as a member of the Building and Utilities Committee and the Public Service and Conservation Committee. Profile of Michael J. Daymut, Ward 1 Councilman
Michael Daymut has been a resident of Strongsville for the past thirty two years and has had the pleasure of serving as Councilman in Ward 1 for the past fifteen years. He was the council representative to the Strongsville Planning Commission for seven years. Michael is currently chairman of the Economic Development Committee and the Utilities, Railroads and Franchises Committee and serves on the Planning, Zoning and Engineering Committee, the Public Safety Committee and the Rules and Ordinances Committee. Profile of Ray Haseley, Ward 2 Councilman
Ray Haseley is the current Ward 2 representative and has resided in Strongsville since 1970. Serving as Trustee to the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce for the last 16 years, served as President in 1986 and 1987. Serving on the Business Advisory Council (BAC) to the Strongsville Schools. Served on the City's Board of Zoning Appeals for over one year. Served on two Comprehensive Plan Review Committees. Served on the Planning Commission for 9 plus years, the last 7 as the Chairman. Pat Coyne
Councilman-At-Large
Patrick J. Coyne was a resident in the City of Brooklyn and a 1977 graduate of BrooklynHigh School. While he was a resident of Brooklyn, he served on the School Board from 1984 to 1987. Pat and his wife Jackie have resided in Strongsville for 17 years and are the proud parents of three; Brendan, Joe and Rebecca. Pat is a 1981 graduate of Baldwin Wallace College where he earned a bachelor or arts degree. He was first elected to City Council as a Councilman-At-Large in 1989. Pat has served on every Council committee during his tenure and is currently Chairman of the Recreation, Senior & Family Preservation Committee. He is employed as Director of Human Resources and Operations for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutors Office. Pat is active in coaching at the recreation level and CYO Youth level. Profile of Mark A. Roth, III
Ward 3 Councilman
Mark Roth is a 20 year veteran of Strongsville City Council, Ward 3. He serves as chairman of the Building Codes & Cemetery Committee and is a member of the Public Service Committee and the Utilities, Railroads & Franchises Committee .
Mark attended Case Western Reserve University for 3 years and graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Mark is a journeyman electrician with 30 years experience, IBEW Local 38.
Mark and his wife Lisa have been married for 24 years and have four children -- Stacey, Brent, Lauren, and Brittany.

Councilman-At-Large
Ken Dooner and his wife Anna have been residents of the City of Strongsville since 1980. They have three grown children - Katie, Kelly and Kyle. Ken has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Kent State University. He has twenty-four years experience in running his own businesses. Currently, he is President of KMD Sales, Inc.
