Adaptive Swim Lessons

Have you searched for swim lessons that can fulfill the needs your child has?

The Strongsville Recreation Department is offering adaptive swim lessons with Beth Lattime, an intervention specialist with 20 years experience and a Master's degree in Special Education.

Each session includes an initial assessment in order to develop customized lesson plans. Lessons will either be 1 instructor: 1 participant or 1 instructor: 2 participants dependent upon the needs of your child or teen. For classes with two participants, pairings will be determined based upon each participant's swim ability, age, behavior, temperament and disability parameters.

Participants receive four half-hour lessons on Monday evenings between 5:30-8:40pm.

Fees:  $72-125 (based on individual needs and member status)
