SMALL WOOD CHORE PROJECTS:
Woodshop volunteers will repair small wood items, chairs, drawers, tables, etc, with a minimum charge of $5. Bring your item into the woodshop any Wednesday or Thursday between 9:30 -11:30 am and one of our volunteers will discuss the cost to repair including supplies.

Pre-requisite is completion of “Sawdust for Beginners”. Come and help repair items and meet new friends
Thurs 6:30-8:30pm
Fees: Per Hour Punch Cards Members/Residents $1 $5
Non-Members/Non-Residents $2 $10
SAWDUST FOR BEGINNERS
This required course for all first time wood shop users covers use of equipment, policies and procedures in the wood shop and basics of wood working. A simple project will be completed during the class. Next class will be offered in the Summer season- please check back.
Day classes offered for ages 50 & older
Evening classes offered for ages 21 & older
Day class- 9:30-2:30*
*Lunch break 11:30am-12:30pm
Evening class- 6-9pm
Fees- $30-$40
WOOD CARVING (Senior Center Wood Shop) (Off for the summer)
Join this group of men and women and learn the artistry and craftsmanship of wood carving.

Ages: 21 & over Every Tues. – 6:30-8:30pm
Ages: 50 & over Every Thurs. – 1:00-3:00 pm
